Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operational and administrative functions supporting SP programs at NYSIM, a NYU/CUNY partnership. You will coordinate staffing, logistics, and program activities, working closely with NYSIM leadership and external partners.

The role emphasizes program development, data management, HR processes, budgeting, and compliance, with opportunities to contribute to simulation education and higher education operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, healthcare administration or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible program coordination experience.
• Effective oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SP program operations, planning, and implementation of activities.
• Supervise and develop staff and Standardized Participants (SPs); handle recruitment and training.
• Manage HR functions including payroll, timekeeping, and performance reviews.
• Assist with program setup, operations, and event support as needed.
• Develop and enforce office policies and procedures; identify efficiencies.
• Collaborate with NYSIM leadership and external clients to run SP simulations.
• Maintain departmental data and records across systems and databases.
• Monitor budgets and purchasing; reconcile expenditures and invoices.
• Produce reports and presentations on performance metrics and planning.
• Contribute to NYSIM events, committees, and special educational programs.
