Job summary

Barry University seeks a dedicated Simulation Operations Specialist to support the Simulation Learning Center. You will operate high-fidelity simulators, manage video and capture equipment, and assist faculty and students with various simulator technologies.

This role requires hands-on setup, post-session cleanup, and ongoing maintenance. You will collaborate with instructors, help in case development and testing, and ensure all equipment is maintained in excellent working order.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical/vocational training required in field of sciences or related technology.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of healthcare simulation experience.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot Laerdal & Gaumard powered technology and simulators.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulator during sessions and manage multimedia systems (A/V, projectors, cameras).
• Assist faculty and students with simulator technologies and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare, set up, and clean up simulation events and stock labs with supplies.
• Perform post-simulation tasks and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Provide training and technical support to faculty, instructors, students, and staff.
