Job summary

Bay College is seeking a Federal Work Study Simulation/Lab Assistant to support daily operations in the simulation and skills laboratories. Responsibilities include room setup, equipment prep, inventory management, and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment.

The role works with the Clinical and Simulation Coordinator and Simulation Technologist to ensure smooth simulation activities. Candidates must be Bay College students in the work-study program and enrolled in at least one credit

Qualifications

• Must be a Bay College student in the work study program to be considered for this position.
• Eligibility for work-study is determined after FAFSA filing.
• Enrollment in a degree program and at least 1 credit towards the semester is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simulation rooms and labs for scheduled activities.
• Assist with room turnover and reorganization between sessions.
• Maintain organized inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Prepare moulage, props, medications, and other materials as directed.
• Assist with setup, operation, cleaning, and storage of simulation equipment.
• Track and report damaged or low-stock equipment to supervisors.
• Perform other simulation, lab, and program-related duties as assigned.
