The University of Olivet is seeking a full-time Simulation and Lab Coordinator to operate nursing labs, run simulation scenarios, and coordinate clinical placements for the Pre-Licensure BSN program. This role supports faculty, ensures equipment readiness, and manages lab safety and scheduling.

Applicants should have a related bachelor's degree and experience with simulation, medical education, or AV capture.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (health sciences, allied health, EMS, healthcare administration, education, IT, media or similar).
• Two or more years in healthcare, simulation, lab, education, or technical operations.
• Aptitude with technical equipment, software configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational skills to manage concurrent schedules, deadlines, and compliance records.
• Ability to work with faculty, students and partners, and keep FERPA confidentiality.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and stand for extended lab sessions.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, program, operate, and tear down high- and low-fidelity manikins for simulation sessions.
• Build out simulation scenarios in manikin software from clinical content provided by faculty.
• Operate the simulation AV and recording system for debriefing and review.
• Serve as simulation operator during live sessions and adjust scenario parameters as directed.
• Prepare, stock, and reset skills lab stations; assist faculty during testing.
• Maintain lab inventory, budgets, par levels, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain lab safety, infection control, and hazardous materials protocols.
• Manage lab scheduling and open lab access for student practice.
