Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living in Glen Mills, PA is seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a strong culinary background and leadership. You will play a key role in our Signature Dining Programs, including à la minute cooking and chef-inspired creations, in state-of-the-art kitchens.

The role supervises culinary staff, manages production, and ensures safety and quality while supporting a culture of teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years full-service kitchen experience.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• Be able to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff.
• Manages daily kitchen production and food preparation to ensure timely service of resident meals.
• Directs the preparation and service of all menu items, including adherence to recipes, proper food handling, food safety, dietary restrictions, and production forecasts.
• Oversees the organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchen, storage areas, and loading dock.
