Job summary

RTD in Denver is seeking a leadership professional to provide oversight for signaling, train control, and Positive Train Control (PTC) systems. You will supervise maintenance staff, ensure safe, reliable operation of wayside signaling and related equipment, and direct troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor degree as noted.
• 1+ year in signal, train control, or transit maintenance operations.
• Experience with light rail wayside signaling, electronic/electromechanical systems. Familiarity with maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of signaling, train control, and PTC systems; supervise staff and allocate shifts.
• Develop and maintain budgets, staffing plans, and maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with Operations, Safety, Finance, and Procurement to address maintenance challenges and system upgrades.
• Analyze system performance data to drive reliability improvements.
