Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Systems Engineer II – Signal Processing to design, develop, prototype, integrate, test, and assess RF/EO-IR signal processing algorithms used across our missile systems programs.

This onsite role requires collaboration across disciplines and the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C, C++, C#, or Java programming languages.
• Experience with algorithm design, implementation, testing, or optimization.
• Eligibility to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Support development and completion of missile systems program objectives with signal processing knowledge.
• Use and modify simulations for design, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of signal processing algorithms.
• Participate in engineering labs to test and validate sensor models and algorithms per requirements.
• Assist in integrating algorithms into hardware and support development from startup to live-fire testing through reviews.
