Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Signal Integrity & PCB design Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to drive SI/PI design across consumer graphics, AI hardware, and autonomous systems. You will lead PCB stackup decisions, perform system-level simulations for PCIe, MIPI, HDMI, and other interfaces, and work closely with package and PCB design teams to optimize SI/PI performance.

Extensive experience with high-speed signaling, FEM tools, and PCB manufacturing impact will be highly valued.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 2+ years of SI/PI experience.
Deep understanding of electromagnetics and transmission line theory.
Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and Constraints Manager or similar tools.
Understanding of high-volume PCB manufacturing impact on SI.
Experience with SI channel design for PCIE, DRAM, MIPI, HDMI, USB etc.
Hands-on with HFSS, Sigrity, HSPICE or equivalents.

Responsibilities

Lead SI design activities, PCB stackup design, material selection and post-layout analysis.
System-level SI simulation for interfaces (PCIE, LPDDR/DDR/GDDR, MIPI, HDMI, USB).
Optimize PDN on PCBs and collaborate with Package/PCB Design teams.
Perform TDR & VNA measurements for material characterization and model correlation.
