Lockheed Martin seeks an emerging Signal and Image Processing Engineer in Orlando to join a team supporting missiles and IRADs. You will design and verify signal and image processing systems, building algorithms for information extraction from sensors using techniques from remote sensing, neural networks, and convolution.

Responsibilities include testing embedded IP algorithms, validating models, and supporting program reviews with customers.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar STEM degree.
• US Citizen; ability to obtain a government security clearance; facility requires special access.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Test and verify embedded algorithms that support unresolved and resolved target detection and tracking for missile and fire control products.
• Validate and test complex models and simulations using match filters and CNNs to detect targets of interest.
• Evaluate system performance in complex environments and verify subsystem requirements.
• Perform HWIL-related test activities to support ground and flight testing.
• Support program reviews and technical interchange meetings with internal leadership and external customers.
