Job summary

BNSF Railway is offering a full-time Summer Internship in the Signal department. You will gain hands-on experience with railroad signaling systems, supporting safety and efficiency of operations across multiple locations.

Open to students pursuing Engineering or related degrees, with summer relocation and up to 75% travel expected. The program aims to identify candidates for the Management Trainee Program and future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Engineering or related fields.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willing to relocate and travel up to 75% for the summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and construct signal infrastructure along the right of way.
• Plan and schedule required maintenance and verify work quality.
• Expand and update railway infrastructure and oversee projects involving BNSF property.

Education

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, etc.), Construction Management, Business, or similar
