Job summary

BNSF Railway is offering a Summer Internship in the Transportation Department, with hands-on exposure to logistics, scheduling, and safety management. The program prepares students for potential full-time Management Trainee roles after graduation.

Positions are full-time (40+ hours/week) in a 24/7 operations environment, with travel, on-call duties, and relocation as needed. Fort Worth, TX orientation and multiple location assignments provide a broad view of rail operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a related field.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Spend the summer on an assigned Division learning rail logistics.
• Assist with terminal operations, logistics projects, and supervision of train crews.
• Interact with multiple Operating departments and support field operations.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and reliability in a dynamic environment.
• Work in mixed indoor/outdoor settings with safety protocols and PPE provided.
