Responsibilities

• Collects case history information and integrates information from patients, family, caregivers, teachers, relevant others, and other professionals.
• Conducts assessment procedures for speech and language pathology and selects appropriate materials and instrumentation.
• Develops and implements a plan of care with measurable goals, and collaborates with patients and relevant others.
• Interprets information to develop a treatment plan and recommendations for intervention.
• Evaluates speech and feeding impairments and coordinates with other therapy professionals.
