Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is seeking qualified sign language interpreters for on-site and video-based interpretation across multiple locations. The role requires fluent ASL and English, strong interpreting accuracy, and knowledge of Deaf culture.

The position supports a mission-driven team with flexible scheduling, telehealth benefits, and professional development opportunities. Interpreters work 12 hours per week on average, with shifts assigned based on customer demand; travel may be required,

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Three to five years of experience in interpreting (preferred).
• As applicable, state licensure or credentials.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Exhibit professional behavior, punctuality, and timely record keeping.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Demonstrate adaptability to new technologies and multi-task between interpreting and video tools.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in all settings.
• Travel independently when required (driver's license and insurance).
