Job summary

ZP Better Together, LLC is expanding its Sign Language Interpreter team. This role provides high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video and on-site at client locations.

Interpreters must be fluent in ASL and English, adhere to NAD-RID ethics, and complete required training. Working 12 hours weekly on average, the position offers a telehealth-friendly benefits package, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English
• Able to provide accurate interpretation
• Understanding of Deaf culture
• Thorough knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Three to five years of interpreting experience (preferred)
• 18 years or older to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers
• Support and model the company’s mission and values
• Provide excellent customer service with a respectful and professional attitude
• Demonstrate punctuality and preparedness for shifts and professional interactions
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and use video-based tools
• Multitask between interpreting and technology
