Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking an American Sign Language interpreter to provide high quality interpreting through video relay and on-site at customer locations as needed. Under the Communication Center Manager, interpreters must be fluent in ASL and English and adhere to NAD-RID Code of Conduct.

Position is part-time; requires 24 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for training. Eligibility for part-time benefits is included where applicable.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Understands Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Experience in interpreting preferred (3–5 years).
• State licensure or credentials where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Support the company's mission and values while delivering professional service.
• Maintain respectful, punctual, and professional interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Comply with FCC regulations and company policies; adapt to new technologies.
• Multitask between interpreting and using video-based tools; participate in training.
• Travel independently to customer locations as required; drive when needed.
