Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support students in a contract, full-time role across multiple educational environments, ensuring access and inclusion throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with certification or licensure appropriate for educational interpreting
• Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting or closely supporting students with communication needs
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to different age groups and environments
• Commitment to confidentiality and equitable access to educational content

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken language for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing in classrooms, school events, and extracurricular activities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure seamless communication
• Adjust interpreting style to fit the instructional context and individual student needs
• Maintain accurate records of interpreting assignments and schedules
