Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services. Positions are available in the US and Canada, with both full-time and part-time options.

Interpreters must interpret between ASL and spoken English, maintain licensure, and adhere to Sorenson standards and regulatory requirements. Benefits include flexible scheduling, premium shifts, CEUs, licensure reimbursement, and a path to annual certification.

Qualifications

• Pass the required skills assessment.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Dexterity to operate keyboard and tools.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain licensure and certification requirements as needed.
• Comply with Sorenson standards, FCC regulations and RID Code of Conduct.
• Adhere to attendance policy and schedule flexibility for VRS demands.
• Complete tasks promptly within approved guidelines.
• Learn and implement new technologies.
• Work effectively in a team and support colleagues.
• Adapt to oversight through monitoring and evaluations.
