Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking interpreters to provide Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign interpreting services in San Antonio, TX. Both full- and part-time positions are available in the US and Canada.

The role requires interpreting between ASL and spoken English, maintaining licensure, and adhering to Sorenson standards and regulatory guidelines. Opportunities for premium shifts and annual certification support are offered.

Qualifications

• Pass our required skills assessment.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
• Interpreter certification may be required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain licensure/certification compliance.
• Follow Sorenson policies and FCC RID conduct.
• Maintain attendance and flexible scheduling.
• Learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
• Work effectively in a team environment.
