Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking interpreters for Sign-to-Voice and Voice-to-Sign services across the US and Canada. Part-time opportunities with shifts Mon-Sat, 7am-7pm MT, minimum 10 interpreting hours per month.

Premium shifts, CEUs, licensure reimbursement up to 100% based on hours, 401K, and no scripting policy. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, optional associate/bachelor’s degree, and interpreter certification as required by local regulations.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or GED.
• Optional associate/bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years interpreting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English.
• Maintain licensure/certification compliance as required.
• Complete tasks, projects, and paperwork promptly within guidelines.
• Maintain flexible work schedule to meet VRS demands.
• Learn and implement new technologies quickly.
• Work effectively in a team and in supervised settings.
