HealthPRO Pediatrics in New Orleans, LA is seeking a full-time ASL Interpreter for a school-based role serving one high school student. You will interpret spoken English into ASL and back, within educational settings, while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Proof of passing/completion certificate of an ASL Interpretation course
• Educational Interpreter certification - this can be obtained through us!
• National certification by RID certification is preferred
• Possess a good memory since an interpreter will need to remember what has been said in order to accurately translate
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
