Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a Float ASL Interpreter to support multiple schools in the area. This part-time, 10 hours per week, W-2 role pays $38-$41 per hour and offers meaningful impact in pediatric therapy support.

Responsibilities include facilitating communication between deaf/hard of hearing students and educators using sign language, oral interpreting, or real-time captioning as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a deaf-related field preferred.
• National Interpreter Certification (NIC), RID, NAD, EIPA or educator’s certificate.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between deaf/hard of hearing students and staff using sign language or other resources.
• Provide real-time captioning and oral interpreting as needed in educational settings.

Responsibilities

Responsible for facilitating communication between students who are deaf/hard of hearing and those individuals involved in the educational process through the use of sign language, oral interpreting, real time captioning, and/or other communication resources needed to accommodate hearing impaired students who are qualified to receive these services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• National Interpreter Certification (NIC), Registry for Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), National Association of the Deaf (NAD), Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA), or an educator’s certificate
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a deaf related field
• Experience in a similar position
