Job summary

Ascension Seton Williamson is seeking a Physician Assistant for an inpatient, full-time role based in Round Rock, Texas. The position includes rotating night shifts within a nonprofit health system, joining an established team of physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive direct care for patients aged 15 and older.

The role requires NCCPA-certified PA with Texas licensure, BLS, and preferred Acute Care credentials.

Responsibilities

• Document ongoing health conditions and communicate care plans to patients and families.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Physician Assistant Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience preferred.

Additional Preferences:

• Acute Care Certification for all APRN applicants
• SICU APP experience
