Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care by providing basic physical care under RN direction.
• Assist all assigned patients with activities of daily living and bed-making as needed.
• Safely transport patients and escorts for tests and discharge.
• Transport specimens and items throughout the facility.
• Perform routine phlebotomy services and glucose testing per policy.
• Record vital signs and monitor patient status according to policy.
