Job summary

Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for our Light Jet operations based in Chicago, IL. The SIC reports to the Base Chief Pilot and supports safe, efficient flight operations under Part 91 and 135 in accordance with CFRs and company procedures.

The role requires 1500+ total hours, 500+ PIC hours, 500+ multi-engine hours, and a valid 1st Class medical. Candidates should live within travel proximity or be willing to relocate; relocation is expected within a 2-hour call

Qualifications

Total flight time of at least 1500 hours.
PIC time at least 500 hours.
Multi-engine time at least 500 hours.
PIC multi-engine time at least 25 hours.
Turbine time at least 100 hours.
Instrument time at least 150 hours.

Responsibilities

Manage duty, flight, and rest times to CFRs.
Maintain communication for standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and flight reports.
Maintain and manage EFB hardware and applications.
Ensure navigation charts, publications, and manuals are current.
Maintain a current 1st Class medical certificate.
Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
