Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Shuttle Driver (Non-CDL) in Houston, TX. The role includes operating shuttle buses, inspecting and cleaning vehicles, fueling, logging trips, and assisting disabled passengers. You must maintain a uniform, be on time, and carry a valid driver’s license.

Requirements include a DOT Medical Card, the ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and safe driving with a clean DMV record. The position supports SP+ facility operations and guest services daily.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid state driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• Availability: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location.
• Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Mathematical: Basic money calculations using dollars and cents.
• Appearance: Neat, clean and uniform at all times.
• Physical: Stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of buses.
• Fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and carry a valid license while on duty.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
