Job summary

Sonic Fort Mill Ford, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Shuttle Driver to assist with vehicle movement, shuttle rides, and valet pickups while maintaining the dealership’s appearance and delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to move vehicles physically, and a willingness to work weekends; compensation is $18 per hour with a 401k, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physically able to drive and move vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain a professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment compliance: drug testing, background check, MVR.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and drop off customers to and from the dealership, ensuring punctual service.
• Maintain a positive, customer-friendly attitude to enhance the service experience.
• Assist in organizing the dealership lot, including parking vehicles in designated spaces.
• Keep the lot and shuttle vehicles clean and well-maintained for a professional appearance.
• Work closely with service teams to support dealership operations.
• Keep trip records, including passenger names, and pickup/drop-off points.
• Notify dispatcher or service manager of any maintenance needs for shuttle vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and direct customers to the right personnel.
