Job summary

Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Shuttle Driver / Bell Person to assist guests with luggage, provide information, and transport guests to onsite locations. This year-round role blends driving duties with front desk-style guest services and seasonal tasks.

The ideal candidate will be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license, be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, and deliver outstanding hospitality while supporting events and guest programs at the lodge.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and drop off guests at onsite locations.
• Assist guests with luggage and equipment.
• Maintain lobby presence for prompt guest service.
• Attend to arriving and departing guests with portage, door opening, parking, and information.
• Be aware of events and groups and their needs.
• Deliver baggage for arriving and departing coaches.
• Keep front entrance clean and tidy.
• Complete seasonal tasks (e.g., shoveling balconies, shuttle runs, starting fires).
• Deliver gifts, flowers and amenities.
• Cover switchboard during breaks.

Job description

Full-time year-round. Duties are split between Shuttle Driver and Bell Person roles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Pick up and drop off guests at various onsite locations; may require driving on and off property.

Assist guests with luggage, equipment, etc.

Must be 21+ and Valid Driver’s License required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs., have great customer service skills, willingness to assist.

• Maintains consistent lobby presence for prompt and efficient guest service.
• Ensure arriving and departing guests receive immediate attention through portage, door opening, parking and information about Stowe and TFL in particular.
• Maintain awareness of current events and all incoming groups and their needs.
• Promptly and accurately deliver baggage of arriving and departing coaches.
• Maintain clean front entrance through sweeping/ shoveling of front, cleaning ash trays and any refuse.
• Complete seasonal tasks as necessary, including but not limited to: shoveling balconies, shuttle runs, starting fires in fireplaces, etc.
• Make deliveries of gifts, flowers and other amenities.
• Cover switchboard agents during breaks or staff shortages.
