Job summary

Thomas Tire & Automotive in Statesville, NC is seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver to provide safe passenger transport to and from homes, workplaces, or service locations while vehicles are serviced.

You will support shop operations with parts retrieval, maintain a clean shuttle, and communicate effectively with the service team to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs. Weekly pay and a 401(k) plan with a company match are included.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent customer service is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety policies and traffic laws.

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive customer experience by bridging the gap between our service center and our customers' busy lives.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and satisfaction of our passengers while supporting our shop operations:

Customer Transportation: Safely transport customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other designated locations in a timely manner while their vehicles are being serviced.

Customer Service: Provide excellent, professional service to every passenger to maintain high service department standards.

Logistics & Communication: Coordinate effectively with the service department for pick-up and drop-off times and keep accurate records of passenger names and destinations.

Shop Support: Retrieve parts and tires from the warehouse for the shop as needed.

Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, well-kept shuttle vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
