Job summary

York, PA Shuttle Driver role in York, PA is to provide safe, courteous transportation for service customers. Hours: Mon - Wed 7am-5:30pm; Rate: $14/hr. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe schedule, assisting passengers, coordinating pickups with the dealership

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Minimum of three years of safe driving history.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing time effectively.

  • Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Maintain an efficient and timely shuttle schedule.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the shuttle.
  • Coordinate pickups using the dealership-issued cell phone.
  • Maintain records of shuttle trips and locations.
  • Present a professional appearance and provide outstanding service.
  • Keep the shuttle vehicle clean and report maintenance concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Shuttle Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for service customers. This role transports customers to and from their homes, workplaces, or other destinations while their vehicles are being serviced. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely transport customers to and from their homes, businesses, or other designated locations while their vehicles are being serviced.
  • Exercise good judgment and follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
  • Maintain an efficient and timely shuttle schedule.
  • Assist passengers with entering and exiting the shuttle vehicle as needed.
  • Use the dealership-issued cell phone to coordinate customer pick-up and delivery appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records of shuttle trips, including passenger names and pick-up/drop-off locations.
  • Present a professional appearance and always provide outstanding customer service.
  • Keep the shuttle vehicle clean and report any maintenance concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to speak and hear.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, and grasp.
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle throughout the shift.
  • Ability to use GPS navigation or maps to determine the most efficient routes.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while assisting customers and entering or exiting vehicles.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
