Job summary

Propark Mobility is hiring CDL Shuttle Drivers in New Haven, CT for full-time and part-time roles starting immediately. You will drive a shuttle bus, greet passengers, assist with loading, and ensure safe operation according to regulations.

A CDL with passenger endorsements is required, and candidates must be 18+ with 3+ years driving experience. We offer flexible scheduling, free parking, wellness programs, and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time staff, including vacations

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and assists with loading/unloading.
• Operates shuttle bus safely and complies with traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records issues.
• Communicates with dispatchers and other staff via radio about routes, arrivals, delays, and issues.
• Performs pre/post trip inspections and reports any problems.
• Notifies dispatch of potential problems due to traffic or weather.
• Reports accidents or safety concerns to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Shuttle Drivers for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately.

What we're looking for

• Drives shuttle bus and transports customers to and from the facility.
• Greets passengers and provides assistance with loading and unloading.
• Operates the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner and complies with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitors vehicle condition and records malfunctioning items or damage on appropriate forms.
• Communicates with dispatchers, drivers and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announcing arrivals and delays, coordinating the pick-up of customers, or handling other vehicle or customer issues that arise.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle buses at the beginning and end of shift to ensure sound operating conditions.
• Monitors traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
• Reports accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
• Treats all customers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Must haves

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 3 years.
• You have the ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
• You have the ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves

• Customer service: 1 year+
• Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+
