Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Transportation role in Indianapolis, IN at St. Vincent PACE to provide door-to-door transport for adult day center participants.

• Assist participants with boarding, exiting, and securing wheelchairs and mobility equipment.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, log transportation records, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow traffic laws and safety guidelines while adjusting routes flexibly and providing compassionate service to families.

How you'll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Heart Saver AED obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

• Chauffeur preferred.
• Drivers License specializing in Commercial preferred.
