Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Selling Manager to support the Store Manager and assist with management duties. This role oversees showroom departments, analyzes sales performance, and coaches the sales and guest experience teams to achieve goals.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, preparing evaluations, and ensuring accurate reporting and communication. A proactive leader with retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years in retail with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise showroom departments as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Review sales performance, margins, quotas, and closing ratios.
• Coach staff to build individual and team success.
• Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of procedures.
• Provide timely communications and attend staff meetings.
