Job summary

Gerhard’s Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Store is seeking a creative, energetic sales and design professional to build relationships with new and existing customers and deliver a design experience worthy of the Gerhard’s brand.

You will drive contractor and retail showroom sales, follow up on quotes, and maintain an organized, aesthetically pleasing environment while contributing to ongoing product knowledge and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or design services preferred.
• Undergraduate/trade school/design education preferred or hands-on learning demonstrated.
• Proficiency with design software such as 20-20, Pro Kitchen or Chief Architect is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including retail hours and occasional evening events.
• Strong client interaction skills and ability to adapt to different knowledge levels.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to meet and exceed targets set by Store Manager.
• Follow up on quotes and develop repeat business.
• Create a high-quality design experience for contractors and retail showroom customers.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional environment and provide outstanding service.
• Coordinate with vendors and shippers to track orders and ensure service quality.
• Contribute to store upkeep and participate in events as needed.
