Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be the main contact for showroom customers, handling inquiries, orders, and quotes for exterior building products. You will work with a nationally linked inventory system and help in the warehouse when needed.

Ideal candidates show integrity, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work both independently and in a team, with strong communication and computer skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• High level of integrity and commitment to customer service.
• Strong interest in sales/retail as shown by previous job or education.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with customers.
• Basic computer skills including keyboard/mouse use.
• Goal-oriented and willing to take on new challenges.
• Knowledge of building principles/products is a plus.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 70 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual/Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for customers visiting the showroom and handle inbound/outbound calls.
• Answer customer inquiries and process orders; prepare quotes for windows and exterior building products.
• Develop thorough knowledge of Lansing's products and services to provide exceptional service.
• Fill customer orders and maintain inventory using the inventory system; assist in the warehouse as needed.
