Job summary

DARCARS Lexus of Greenwich is seeking an Automotive Front Desk Receptionist to be the front-line representative in the showroom. You will greet customers, direct them to the appropriate department or salesperson, answer basic inquiries, and take thorough messages.

You will also enter data into the prospect tracking system, manage the switchboard, and provide friendly, professional service while supporting the sales and service teams. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to greet customers in person and on the phone.
• Clear communication and professional demeanor with customers and staff.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and team collaboration.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
• Direct customers to the correct department or salesperson.
• Answer basic customer inquiries and route more complex questions.
• Enter data into the prospect tracking system.
• Manage switchboard and distribute messages promptly.
• Provide general information and maintain a professional, friendly tone.
• Update the telephone roster and perform clerical duties as needed.
• Serve as showroom greeter and support sales/operations staff.
• Handle transaction receipts for sale and service departments if applicable.
