Havertys Furniture Companies, Inc in McKinney, TX is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant to help set up showroom merchandise and assist with deliveries to customers' homes. You will support the Showroom team with floor moves, lighting, and stocking to maintain a welcoming showroom.

The position offers starting pay of $15.50 per hour, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 7:30 am, and hours may vary based on business needs. Training is provided along with benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the showroom floor, including placing parts and performing repairs as needed.
• Assist with moving and arranging showroom merchandise.
• Support deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place it in customers’ homes.
• Assist with floor moves and processing of new accessories.
• Aim lighting on furniture and accessories with the Display Coordinator.
• Place POP materials and signage.
• Assist customers with carrying merchandise to their vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the stockroom; sweep and mop.
• Ensure exits are lit and unobstructed.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds.
