Job summary

Havertys Furniture is seeking a Display Delivery Assistant in Lithonia, GA. The role involves setting up merchandise in showrooms and assisting with furniture deliveries to customers’ homes. You will work with a focus on customer service, integrity, quality, and teamwork.

Pay is $15.50–$16.50 per hour based on experience. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, starting at 7:30 am. Training is paid and benefits are offered, with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and assist on the delivery truck.

Responsibilities

• Keep merchandise on the showroom floor in functional condition and repair when needed.
• Support the moving and arranging of showroom merchandise.
• Assist with deliveries to customers' homes.
• Unload furniture from trucks and place in customers' homes.
• Assist Display Coordinator with floor moves and lighting.
• Maintain stockroom and keep the showroom clean.
• Assist customers in loading merchandise into their vehicles.
