Job summary

Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc. in Lithonia, GA is seeking a Furniture Delivery Driver Assistant. You will help deliver and set up merchandise in customers' homes and work with a safety-focused, service-driven team.

Starting pay $18.50-$20.50 per hour, with overtime and Daily Pay options. Shifts begin at 7:30 am; routes may run 4 or 5 days per week, with Sundays off. No prior delivery experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a current Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Ability to push, pull and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds.
• Must be able to achieve DOT Certification (company paid).
• Must be able to pass background requirements and drug screen including THC testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up furniture in customers’ homes.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely and on schedule.
• Unload or load product at customers’ homes, stores, or warehouse.
• Maintain delivery time window and document the delivery transaction.
• Assist in the warehouse or showroom as needed.
