Job summary

Renaissance Tile & Bath is seeking a Sales Design Consultant to guide clients in our Charlotte showroom, translating design visions into material selections for tile and bath projects. You will develop concepts, prepare quotes, and manage sales from first contact through closing, coordinating with internal teams for accurate orders and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong external marketing mindset with proven customer service skills.
• Demonstrated sales skills with ability to guide clients through decisions.
• Applied interior design skills with eye for space planning and materials.
• Knowledge of furniture and furnishings to support cohesive design solutions.
• Comfort working in showroom/retail design environment with trade professionals and homeowners.
• Ability to read basic plans/elevations; design software familiarity is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills for quotes, orders, samples, and timelines.
• Collaborative approach with colleagues, vendors, and installers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and guide clients through the showroom, learning design needs and vision.
• Present tile, bath, and related product solutions aligned with client goals.
• Develop design concepts and prepare proposals and quotes.
• Manage sales from initial contact through closing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate ordering and delivery.
• Maintain showroom standards and support visual merchandising.
• Build and nurture relationships with designers, architects, builders, and homeowners to drive repeat/referral business.
