Mindrift is running a research study on how people use their phones, apps and everyday digital tools, and how that differs across languages and cultures. We’re looking for native German speakers in New York to join a paid, 3-day in-person study in Midtown Manhattan.

Mindrift is conducting a study to understand how people who communicate in German actually use their devices, so future products work better for them. The study offers $100/hour, up to $2,400 for the full study.

Qualifications

• 18+ and currently living in NYC.
• A native German speaker who grew up in Germany.
• You use German in everyday life: texting friends, email, notes.
• You’ve used a smartphone as your main personal phone for 3+ years.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• Available for 3 consecutive days (Mon–Wed or Thu–Sat), starting October 16 on Friday.
• Not currently employed by a tech or AI company.
