Mindrift (Toloka) is running a paid, 3-day in-person study in Midtown Manhattan. We’re seeking native German speakers who currently live in New York to participate in an in-person study that explores how people use their phones, apps, and everyday digital tools across languages and cultures.
You will walk us through how you use your phone and favorite apps, share examples of your daily phone activity, and fill in a short questionnaire about your habits.
Mindrift is running a research study on how people use their phones, apps and everyday digital tools, and how that differs across languages and cultures. We’re looking for native German speakers in New York to join a paid, 3-day in-person study in Midtown Manhattan.
Most technology is still designed with English speakers in mind. This study helps researchers understand how people who communicate in German actually use their devices, so future products work better for them.
Great fit for international students, people new to NYC, and anyone between jobs or with a flexible schedule.
$100/hour, up to $2,400 for the full study.
Participation is voluntary and covered by a signed consent form that explains exactly what’s involved. You can ask questions at any point and stop whenever you like.
