Job summary

TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the Chef in preparing and presenting meals for patients, employees, visitors and events. You will help maintain sanitation and HACCP standards across kitchen areas and assist with daily paperwork and inventory as needed.

This is a full-time role with 80 hours bi-weekly, shift varies, and rotating weekends/holidays. A High School Diploma or GED is required, or relevant experience; benefits include medical, dental,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Data collection: finishing daily paperwork such as cleaning lists, specials list, temperature charts, cooler logs, invoices.
• Cleanliness: maintain cleanliness, safety, sanitation and HACCP standards.
• Prepare required volumes of food within time constraints; use recipes and proper cooking techniques.
• Communicate with managers and staff to address issues and keep supervisors informed.
• Rotate between production roles and be cross-trained to support other duties.
