Job summary

TriHealth is seeking a Cook at Good Samaritan Hospital to assist with food preparation and presentations for patients, staff, and events. You will help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and support the culinary team in delivering high-quality meals with attention to HACCP standards.

The role includes working an evening shift with rotating weekends and holidays, and opportunities for professional growth within TriHealth’s Food & Nutrition team. A competitive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or 1 year in TriHealth Nutrition role.
• 2. Quantity food service preparation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, safety, sanitation and HACCP standards in daily tasks.
• Completes daily paperwork such as cleaning lists, specials list, temperature charts, cooler logs, invoices.
• Prepares necessary volumes of food within time constraints using proper cooking techniques.
• Gains rotational experience by cross-training and assisting in other production area roles.
• Communicates with managers and staff to address and resolve departmental issues.
