Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Shore Power Electrical Engineer to support waterfront and shore power projects across multiple U.S. locations, including Denver, CO.

The role involves detailed electrical design (one-line diagrams, wiring, control schemes), NEC/NESC/IEEE compliance, protection and relay settings, and coordination with clients and vendors. Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years' design experience, and EIT/PE eligibility; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET‑accredited program; professional licensure encouraged.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience on capital projects.
• US citizenship required due to client requirements.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70/NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 780, and related codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD; familiarity with SKM, Easy Power, ETAP.

Responsibilities

• Support shore power projects from concept to construction.
• Develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
• Perform electrical calculations per NEC/NESC/IEEE; support relay settings and arc flash analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines; ensure safety compliance.
