Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (ABET-accredited).
• 5+ years of post-education experience delivering design deliverables for capital projects.
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineering registration within one year.

Responsibilities

• Support shore power projects from application through detail design and construction.
• Perform electrical design for grounded/ungrounded shore power systems and upstream power distribution.
• Develop design deliverables: one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, conduit/cable sizing, layouts, equipment specs, SCADA and metering systems.
• Perform NEC, NESC, UFC, CSTO, IEEE, OP5 and related standards analyses.
• Assist with protection studies, arc flash analyses, relay settings, and time-current coordination.
• Coordinate with clients and disciplines to define requirements and deliver full project scope.
• Develop waterfront shore power construction plans, cost estimates, and design basis.
