American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line, seeks an Excursions Director for the 2027 season onboard its ships. You will oversee shore excursions, coordinate with vendors, and act as a brand ambassador while engaging guests daily across itineraries.

You’ll manage inventory, support on-board operations, and drive guest satisfaction through personalized experiences and smart logistics. This exempt full-time role requires travel-ready availability and strong hospitality expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Geography preferred.
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Be extraordinarily well-versed in cruising region, ports and excursions.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests, including personalized arrangements.
• Promote onboard sales and brand loyalty program.
• Inform crew members of daily excursion offerings.
• Manage departmental administrative tasks.
