Job summary

Google Shopping in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Shopping Product Advisor in Global Policy and Standards to shape policy for the monetized shopping team. You will advise internal teams on core principles and design policies to address abuse risks, enabling responsible growth across Google Shopping products.

You will work with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to craft thoughtful cross-Product Area standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Experience with regulations governing e-commerce or online shopping at a regulatory body or business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address major problems challenging the safety and integrity of our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design thoughtful cross-Product Area approaches on key priorities.
• Advise internal teams and translate regulatory concepts into clear policy guidance for Google products.
• Balance legal/regulatory requirements with users and advertisers while upholding Google's core values.
