Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Advisor within the Trust & Safety, Monetized team to shape policy and standards for abuse prevention across Google products. You will advise internal teams, design principled policies, and engage with cross-functional partners to balance risk with responsible growth.

You will work globally with engineers, product managers, and policy experts to translate complex regulatory and policy issues into actionable guidance that protects users and advertisers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Experience with regulations governing e-commerce or online shopping at a regulatory body or business.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate policy issues to develop and implement shopping policies prioritizing user safety and privacy.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and S&T to inform product decisions and policy analyses.
• Resolve high-profile policy issues from the public, users, and internal stakeholders.
• Build awareness of product policies within Google and across users to set industry standards.
• Handle sensitive content and scenarios with care, maintaining trust and safety standards.
