Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Advisor in the Trust & Safety, Global Policy and Standards organization. You will guide policy design, address abuse risks, and enable responsible growth across Google products.

You will work with internal teams and cross-functional partners to craft scalable standards and cross-Product Area approaches. The role requires a strong background in internet policy, risk management, and interaction with engineers and product managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in a policy, legal, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Experience with regulations governing e-commerce or online shopping at a regulatory body or business.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate policy issues to develop and implement shopping policies that prioritize user safety, product quality, and privacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to influence product decisions and improve the user experience.
• Resolve high-profile policy issues from the public, users, and internal stakeholders.
• Build awareness and understanding of our product policies within Google and across our user base to set industry standards.
• Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics.
