Job summary

APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Shop Laborer to support shop supervisors and mechanics. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, and assisting with daily shop operations in Oklahoma.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, construction knowledge, and prior experience in a construction setting. Responsibilities include processing work orders, reporting, and maintaining inventories.

Qualifications

• Must have basic construction knowledge and be able to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and write legibly.
• Able to understand verbal and written directions and communicate effectively.
• Experience using tools and equipment in a shop or construction setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety policies.
• Assist shop supervisors and mechanics in daily duties.
• Process work orders and driver reports accurately and timely.
• Ensure equipment availability for the next shift.
• Order parts and maintain inventory as directed.
